Placement Broker – Commercial Insurance
Location: Laval (hybrid work model)
To support our brokers in the file placement process, Synex Assurance | Invessa is seeking an individual with strong analytical and synthesis skills, and a passion for insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist brokers with file placement and ensure follow-up;
Collaborate with brokers to develop placement strategies;
Negotiate renewal terms and insurance coverages with insurers;
Ensure all required documentation is obtained to secure favorable placement conditions;
Verify compliance of incoming requests;
Stay up to date on new products offered by insurers;
Monitor market trends and share relevant insights with internal teams;
Coordinate the process and communicate file progress to all stakeholders (brokers, insurers, and insured clients);
Perform other related tasks associated with the placement department.
What We’re Looking For:
A commercial property and casualty insurance certificate issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers;
More than 5 years of experience in commercial insurance;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.);
Familiarity with computer systems, including Acturis software (an asset);
Strong organizational skills;
Autonomy and resourcefulness;
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to foster collaboration;
High standards of professional ethics.
